My name is Janine, I am a self taught artist and have been painting since June 2013.

I have always had an admiration for artists and their works. It always amazed me ( and still does  to this day ) at how they can do  and achieve what they do. So many works out there are just amazing !!!

 

All these years I had wanted to persue an artistry hobbie ,with luck into a career, but always felt I was never good enough because my art teacher in secondary school  ( back in the 80's ) never liked any of the pieces I had produced and told me so to my face.

Therefore, I felt that I must not have it in me, so I decided that I would never be good enough to persue something I liked to do so much.

 

June 2013, all those years later, it still played on my mind so I decided to start watching tutorials on how to draw, paint etc, some of them looked so easy so I decided to give it a try, starting with Landscapes then onto animals.

Before I knew it I was getting compliments and requests from family and friends and friends of friends.

I may not be the professional as some of them out there are , but I have my own personal style and as time goes on I find  ( like with anything ) my skills are improving with reputition, and my paintings have started to sell extemely well.

Displayed on this sight are just some of the works I have done, there will be plenty more to follow in the near future :-))

All I need is a good clear photograph of your pet , email it to me , ( head shots preferred ) but not essential and I will get back to you with all the details of sizes prices and postage.

My charges are very reasnable, unlike most artists, I DO NOT CHARGE BY THE HOUR !

If you are wanting them for a specific date ( such as a gift for someone ,birthdays etc ) then I will need at least 2 to 3 weeks notice as a lot of hours go into my paintings.

 

It does not only have to be pets, try me on anything and I will give you a yes or a no if I believe I can or cannot do it. :-)
